Rumors are swirling that Yolanda Hadid, who recently divorced music icon David Foster, will be joining her famous model children on the East Coast after listing her Westwood condo for a hair under $5 million. Her daughter Bella currently resides in East Village, while her other famous daughter Gigi owns a $3.97 million apartment on Bond Street. Hadid’s son Anwar, who is also a model, also lives in New York City.
The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star only owned the unit for about a year after buying it in December 2015 for $4.59 million. The bachelorette pad gave the former model a fresh start following her divorce from Foster, but it now seems that Yolanda — who is now healthy after battling Lyme Disease for years — is looking to expand her horizons elsewhere.
The 2010-built, 3,950-square-foot condo is located within the high-rises of Wilshire Corridor. The spacious 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom spread had been recently renovated with top-of-the-line finishes according to Yolanda’s impeccable tastes. Almost no surface was left untouched, and now features designer wallpaper, crown molding, tons of lavish chandeliers, automated UV-blocking window shades, and custom drapery.
The 11-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass give the already-spacious unit an even more open and airy feel with tons of natural light to illuminate the space, not to mention the amazing city and ocean views.
A private elevator entrance allows for a discreet entrance and exit to the unit, which was undoubtedly useful for paparazzi targets like Yolanda.
While the master ensuite bedroom is impressive on its own, it’s the closet space that will have even Carrie Bradshaw drooling. There’s so much square footage that it can house even the most elaborate wardrobe.
The chef’s kitchen boasts gorgeous quartz countertops and not one, but two sub-zero refrigerators. It’s certainly the type of kitchen that will garner the attention of avid food enthusiasts. The L-shaped living space boasts an enormous flatscreen TV surrounded by tons of floating glass shelves, as well as stunning views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Combined with the living space is the dining area with grey-toned hardwood flooring and a fireplace, which leads to a cantilevered balcony.
A 415-square-foot suite located on the second floor provides some privacy from the rest of the living spaces in the condo, which can easily be converted to an office, guest room, or staff quarters. There’s even a room that is currently designated as the “massage” room, complete with a massage table and all the accessories needed to bring the spa home.
Other notable features of the condo include three dedicated parking spaces, rare onyx-and-granite bathrooms, and a den.
Building amenities include a valet, concierge, temperature-controlled wine storage, private lounge, lockers, heated outdoor swimming pool, and gym, which cost $3,865 per month in homeowner’s dues.
Before their split, Yolanda and David listed their Malibu mansion for $27.5 million in early 2014. The 6-bedroom, 9-bathroom home ended up selling for $19.495 million. Should Yolanda move to the East Coast, it won’t be the first time she’s settled in New York. The stunner once owned a pad in the Bowery neighborhood of the city.
