Brad Goreski (“Fashion Police”) and his producer husband Gary Janetti have just put their stylish Holmby Hills home on the market for $3.8 million. The couple purchased the home back in 2012 for $2.3 million.
The location is a highly coveted one, and is nearby the L.A. Country Club and all the shops that Westwood and Beverly Hills have to offer.
The front of the home is incredibly inviting thanks to its terraced water feature and traditional red front door. The foyer and stair hall divide the living spaces on the main level, including adjoining formal living and dining rooms, both of which offer direct access to outdoor living areas and gardens.
There is a family room with vaulted ceilings and a loft space that can be accessed via a steel and wire staircase. The 4,542 square feet of living space also includes four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
The kitchen is lined in white cabinetry, a large center island with a gas range, and stainless steel appliances, all of which are offset by a bulky wood-carved buffet that serves as the statement piece of the room.
The master bedroom boasts a massive ensuite bathroom that doubles as a dressing room and comes with a free-standing soaker tub.
The 1933-built home has been extensively renovated over the years to have a much more modern version of its original traditional style. Stark white walls contrasted with high-gloss, dark wood floors make a bold statement throughout the home that is not surprising for a style master like Goreski. Other notable features of the home include a modern frameless glass loggia on the second level that offers wonderful views of the valley below.
While there’s no swimming pool in the backyard, there’s almost no need for one, considering the myriad of water features that are scattered throughout. There’s an adorable lily pond, tiled waterway, and fountains that surround the outdoor conversation area. The slate terrace features a built-in seating area covered with a vine-lined trellis.
Back in 2012, the couple sold a 2,893-square-foot, 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom Hollywood home for $1.95 million after buying it for $1.2 million in 2001.
Where the couple is headed to next remains to be seen, but it doesn’t look like they’re leaving the west coast anytime soon. Goreski continues to be busy with his “Fashion Police” gig, while Janetti’s producer role with the popular show “Family Guy” will likely keep them near LA, at least for the short term. The couple continues to own a pied-à-terre in New York City as well.
