It seems that the world of real estate in Los Angeles can’t go a day without the name “Kardashian” popping up. Everyone in the famous reality family has played their hand in the local L.A. luxury housing market as of late, including Kim, Kylie, and the head of the Kardashian clan, Homager Kris Jenner herself. This time, lone brother Rob Kardashian is becoming active in the market, after listing his Calabasas mansion that his mom Kris bought for him just last year.
We’re not sure if Rob is trying to make a quick profit, considering the home was bought February 2016 for $2.285, and is now up on the market for $2.675. Or perhaps he’s trying to gain a fresh start after trouble recently ensued with his finance Blac Chyna shortly after the birth of the tumultuous couple’s daughter Dream.
Either way, there’s no denying the constantly growing real estate portfolio that this popular television family has under its belt.
Stone steps from the front yard lead to a single white front door flanked by pillars. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom, two-story home is situated on 12,700 square feet of land on a private cul-de-sac in the highly coveted Oaks of Calabasas neighborhood of L.A. where other members of the Kardashian clan live, including sisters Khloe, Courtney, and Kylie.
Built in 2005, the home is filled with light thanks to the abundance of oversized windows, and its light neutral decor is a wonderful blend of timeless and modern finishes.
The 4,256-square-foot East Coast–style abode is surprisingly cozy despite its large size. The master bedroom features a separate seating area, and the adjoining master bathroom comes with a central jetted bathtub, separate makeup desk, and matching his-and-hers mirrors and sinks.
The large eat-in kitchen comes equipped with a breakfast nook and designer appliances. But perhaps the most impressive part of the kitchen is its large center island that’s perfect for entertaining the entire family. The adjoining formal dining room houses a butler’s pantry, and features double-height ceilings that lends to an impressive and grandeur space.
The formal living room is anchored with a fireplace, and the large family room leads out to the private, well-manicured backyard through French doors. The spacious office leads to the front porch through its own set of French doors.
Sprawled across the grounds is a swimming pool that spills into the spa, outdoor kitchen, various entertaining areas, and fire pit. The home also features an attached garage preceded by a well-lit, covered carport.
This is Rob’s first encounter with the real estate market, after having previously lived with his older sister Khloe. Despite running his own sock line Arthur George, Rob is not as financially well-off as the rest of the family members are, which is perhaps why Kris bought him the home in the first place.
Hopefully he’ll make a handsome profit upon the sale of his first home, and put it towards another, which will likely be in the same neigborhood based on the the market moves of the rest of the Kardashian family.
