Patrick Dempsey’s Pacific Palisades Home for Sale
Actor Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian have put their five-bedroom home in Pacific Palisades up for sale. Purchased by Jillian in July 2015 after she filed for divorce, the 6,135-square-foot home is reportedly no longer needed as the couple has decided to get back together. Built in 1951, the home features an open living area, a high-ceilinged entryway, a butler’s pantry, stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, a kidney-shaped swimming pool and a spa. The home, which Jillian purchased for $6.1 million, is on the market for $8 million.
Brian Baumgartner Puts Hollywood Hills Home on the Market
Actor Brian Baumgartner has placed his two-story 1940s Colonial Revival home in the Hollywood Hills on the market. Situated on Spring Oak Drive on one-quarter acre in the Los Feliz Oaks, the updated traditional home boasts four bedrooms and four baths. Other features include two fireplaces, casement windows, crown molding, oak floors, French doors, a wet bar and a swimming pool. Baumgartner and his then-wife purchased the home in 2007 for $1.913 million. It is currently on the market for $2.849 million.
Milton J. Black-Designed Home in Los Feliz on the Market
Known as the Victor M. Carter Residence, a Los Feliz home designed by Milton J. Black has been placed on the market. Black is known for utilizing a variety of architectural styles, ranging from Spanish Colonial Revival to French Art Deco. Yet, he is best known for his Streamline Moderne structures. Built in 1935, construction of the home was commissioned by Victor M. Carter. Carter was a Russian immigrant who went on to become a prominent businessman and philanthropist.
The 2,340-square-foot home is on the market for the first time in nearly four decades. Features of the four-bedroom, four-bath home include curving windows, a den with a built-in bar, a magnesite staircase with a chrome handrail, exterior copper trim, a formal dining room, a built-in powder room vanity, a step-down living room with a fireplace and a terraced backyard with fruit trees. The home is on the market for $1.79 million.
Johnny Depp Lists French Village for $55 Million
On the international market, superstar Johnny Depp, who is known for collecting exotic real estate, has placed his French Village back on the market. After listing it for $26 million last summer, Depp took the property off of the market for a year before putting it back on the market with a $55 million price tag. In the process, Depp has also switched brokerages. The village reportedly features a Pirates of the Caribbean themed cave as well as a skate park that the actor built for his son.
