Hollywood power couple Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have flexed their real estate muscle in their recent upgrade from a smaller, but overtly luxurious dwelling in the trendy community of Los Feliz to a larger bode in Toluca Lake. The couple, who welcomed their second son in February, opted to trade up in order to accommodate their expanding family, as well as Fox’s expanding paychecks earned from appearing in recent blockbusters like “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
The couple’s previous home is the perfect paradise for the private luxury home owner. The Mediterranean Villa at 2771 Glendower Avenue is walled off for total privacy, however those walls aren’t so private that the exquisite views of the surrounding cityscape are sacrificed. Perched high atop a hill, the home has unobstructed views of downtown Los Angeles, Long Beach, Century City and the Pacific Ocean. The property consists of 13,228 square feet of living space and features a beautifully landscaped yard and a gorgeous pool.
The home itself boasts 5,300 square feet and consists of four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The airy home has the Old World feel of an ancient Italian villa. Distressed wood floors pair well with antique lighting that has been refurbished for the modern home owner’s needs.
Despite having plenty of space to live and grow, the couple opted for a larger property in Toluca Lake and just recently sold this property for $3.75 million.
Toluca Lake Home Formerly Belonged to Bing Crosby
In a move that only tried and true real estate experts can pull off, Fox and Green recently purchased their new Toluca Lake home for $3.35 million, a hair less than what they got for their smaller property in Los Feliz. The home is no stranger to celebrity owners as it was formerly Bing Crosby’s carriage house.
The home at 10444 Camarillo Street sits on nearly an acre of land and, similar to their previous property, is almost completely secluded from the surrounding community. Past the front gate a 100-foot, curving driveway leads visitors through a grove of century old oak and olive trees to a contemporary ranch house. The home has been around for more than a few years, but was recently remodeled into the epitome of luxury and class.
Despite being just one floor, the home is an architectural wonder from top to bottom with vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams and quartz slate floors. It features four bedrooms and six bathrooms across an open and airy floor plan. The master suite includes a second-story loft area as well as separate his and hers dressing rooms and bathrooms.
Out back, Green and Fox have access to a saline pool, jacuzzi and fire pit for ultimate relaxation and entertaining possibilities.
