Longtime Hollywood couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell just sold their Pacific Palisades mansion for nearly $6.9 million, just shy of their initial listing price of $7.25 million. They purchased the home for $4.12 million back in 2004.

Situated on a roughly half-acre lot in the glamorous LA neighborhood of Riviera and tucked behind high hedges, the 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home features an East Coast style with its white siding and myriad of white French doors and windows. Built in 1951, the home has since been updated yet still retains its original charm with slender columns, brickwork, and crawling ivy.

The nearly 6,400-square-foot home features a spacious living room with built-in bookshelves, a massive skylight, and French doors that lead to the outdoor area. The roomy country-style kitchen is decorated with an eclectic checkerboard pattern and features a large skylight, an oversized island, and a breakfast room that opens up to a lavish backyard through French doors.

The private master suite is located in a separate wing and comes equipped with his-and-hers closets, a fireplace, and a master ensuite bathroom with a steam shower, garden tub, and a dry sauna. Two guest bedrooms are perched up on the upper level, one of which is drenched in floor-to-ceiling windows and the other of which is currently being used a Pilates studio. The other two guest bedrooms are located on the main level.

Other living spaces in the home include a formal dining room and a media room.

The outdoor living space in the back is privately shaded with mature trees, and features terraces, a pool, and a meditation pavilion.

It looks as if the couple – who’ve never married – aren’t planning to move too far away. They currently own a custom-built home on just over half an acre of land just a few blocks away that they purchased for $5.7 million in 2011, and will likely be moving into it.

Hawn and Russell have had their hand in the real estate game many times before their most recent transaction. They previously owned the home right across the street before selling it for $12 million in 2004 to Adam Sandler. They also continue to own a 5,700-square-foot home in Palm Desert, CA, that they bought for $3.615 million in 2003, a vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley, a ranch property in Colorado, and a massive penthouse in Manhattan that they purchased in 1997 for $3.85 million.

Hawn, 71, is making a comeback to the silver screen after 15 years in the comedy “Snatched” with Amy Schumer, while Russell, 65, co-stars in the action-thriller “The Fate of the Furious.”
