While some celebrity homes have just recently hit the market, others were quietly sold without ever being publicly listed. Here is a look at some recent celebrity real estate transactions taking place in Southern California.

Taraji P. Hansan Selling Beachwood Canyon Mansion

Empire actress Taraji P. Henson has put her Beachwood Canyon mansion on the market for $3.25 million. Built in 2009 and originally purchased by Henson in 2011, the home features a Moorish exterior with a deeply contemporary interior design. Other features of the tri-level Hollywood Hills mansion include high ceilings, a wine cellar capable of holding 600 bottles, an in-home theater, multiple chandeliers and three fireplaces. One of the home’s four bedrooms has also been converted into a dressing room boasting a bathroom, a salon chair and a shampoo bowl. The home’s numerous gardens serve as a great location for outdoor entertaining.

Bruno Mars Sells Mulholland Drive Mansion

Pop star Bruno Mars has reportedly sold his contemporary mansion in the Hollywood Hills to Jill Leiderman of Jimmy Kimmel Live and Rob Cohen of The Big Bang Theory. At the time when Mars purchased the home, it featured 11-foot-tall custom entry doors and floor-to-ceiling walls made from retractable glass. Other features of the 4,064-square-foot-home, which rests on slightly more than a quarter acre, included a steam shower, a dry sauna, a massage area. The walled and gated home, which includes a security system with eight cameras around its perimeter, also features a swimming pool. Mars purchased the home in 2012 for $3.254 million and sold it to Leiderman and Cohen in an off-market deal for $3.347 million.

Kerry Washington’s Hollywood Hills Mansion

Actress Kerry Washington and her husband, former pro-football player Nnamdi Asomugha, bought their French Country-inspired home on the market last month for $2.695 million. Located near Cahuenga Pass and constructed in 1926, the home reportedly already has a pending sale. Featuring four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, the home boasts a detached gym and views of the Hollywood sign. Situated on a 30,000-square-foot lot, the property also features a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guesthouse, a swimming pool, a basketball court and an outdoor entertainment area with a projection TV. The couple purchased the home in May 2014 for $1.865 million.

Lauren Conrad’s Beverly Hills Penthouse

After purchasing her condo in 2012, TV star and designer Lauren Conrad has made alterations to the spiral staircase and has added new custom cabinets in the kitchen as well as a 20 foot reclaimed brick wall. Other features of the two-story, two-bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom home include a cocktail bar, a master bathroom with his-and-hers sinks and a roof deck boasting monochromatic marble tiles. Conrad originally purchased the home for $1.35 million and is now asking $3.2 million.

Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson’s Former Malibu Home

Although the home no longer has the rock star touches that were added by Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson when they called it home, their six-bedroom, six bathroom former home is now on the market for $4.595 million. Built in 1991, the 7,500-square-foot home offers views of Celio Farms, Calimogos Ranch and Rocky Oaks wineries. Other features include extremely large closets, a fireplace in the master bedroom, tiled patios and an expansive pool area.
