LA Art Show

The Los Angeles Art Show is the longest running setting for contemporary, modern, historic and traditional art in the United States. With a wide-ranging display of types of art, art lovers of all varieties will enjoy this show. The show sections include Modern & Contemporary and Traditional Contemporary sections. Visitors can also enjoy featured galleries and programs, including lectures, tours, special exhibits, and after-parties. The event will kick off with a benefit opening night premiere party on January 11th.

Uncorked Wine Festival

This fun-filled foodie event includes fifty wineries, food trucks, music all in the beautiful setting of Union Station. There is a champagne wine bar, an international wine market and a blind tasting bar to offers you a primer on wine knowledge.

Riot LA

While this annual comedy festival may not be a family-friendly event, it is worth the price of a babysitter. This year the event planners have taken a pass on the Skid Row-adjacent parking lots and dingy bars for the lively scene of LA Live and Broadway theaters. This comedy event will spread throughout four venues—the Microsoft Theater, the Novo, the Orpheum Theatre and the Theatre at Ace Hotel. There will be three nights of performances, with individual show tickets available as well as a weekend pass.

Live Talks LA

This innovative lecture series offers an unrivaled lineup of writers, artists, performers, scientists and business leaders. Throughout the winter and spring, venues around the city will host a range of guest speakers to give attendees some food for through. Talks will range from technology to historic literature, with almost everything in between.

Night on Broadway

This cultural festival will span seven of Downtown LA’s historic theaters and movie palaces. Each of the participating venues will open their doors for the Night on Broadway to host eclectic performances and art installations. There will also be a street festival between 4th Street and 7th Street with shopping pop-ups, a family-friendly kids area and a music main stage.
