The annual LA County Fair is not your average county fair. The originally agriculturally based fair has evolved into something that could not have been imagined when it was dreamed up in the 1920’s. There is still an agricultural nod in the fairs design but with a modern, updated flare.
Things to Do:
Concerts – Through the End of Summer Concert series, fairgoers can enjoy outdoor concerts featuring many genres of music. Some of the headliners include Iggy Azalea and Chicago.
Fair Rides – For those looking for a thrill, you can visit Ray Cammack’s exciting carnival rides offered in the largest midway in the country with over 70 rides and 40 games.
The Igloo – Sponsored by Groupon – The Igloo allows visitors to lace up their skates and hit the ice in summertime. The ice park features a full-service ice skating rink, sledding hill and the Arctic Promenade complete with unique shopping experiences.
Let The Games Begin – Through this interactive sports experience visitors of all ages can engage with interactive devices and visit intriguing displays of rare memorabilia that outlines the origins of the nations past-times: Baseball, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Hockey and Golf.
Things to Eat and Drink:
There is something for everyone to eat and drink at the LA County Fair. From traditional family friendly carnival fare to adults only wining and dining. You can participate in wine or olive oil tasting classes or visit the Wine, Beer and Spirits Marketplace to enjoy award-winning beer, wine, olive oil and spirits from various Los Angeles International Competitions. You can also visit Top of the Park, a bar and restaurant with 180° panoramic views of the fair. The restaurant offers fine dining with perfect views of the LA County Fair Grounds. There is even live horse racing wagering, Thursdays-Sundays, Sept. 8-25.
Things to Enjoy:
Jurassic Planet Sponsored by Danonino – This experience takes you on an adventure to see prehistoric creatures as they roam lush hillsides of the fairgrounds.
The Circus – A visit to the LA County Fair can also mirror as a trip to the circus. Visitors can experience a real traveling circus with aerial and side shows throughout the day. Make sure to visit the Budweiser Clydesdales and many other circus shows.

Care Health Plan – The exhibit Our Body: The Universe Within has received national attention at museums and locations throughout the country as it gives visitors an artful and educational look into actual human bodies and organs.
